Sara Burford is a 1988 graduate of Wilcox Academy. She attended Auburn Univerisity where she earned a BS degree in Early Childhood Education. Sara later obtained her masters degree from the University of West Alabama also in Early Childhood Education.

Sara Burford is married to Chris Burford. They have four children, three of which attend Wilcox Academy.
