Congratulations to Callyn Falkenberry and Anna Stoudenmire, who are the 2014-15 Daughters of the American Revolution essay contest winners. The sixth and eighth grades annually participate in the contest. This year’s topic "A Child’s Journey through Ellis Island" made for an interesting look at immigration in the late 1890s. These students, along with DAR Good Citizen Malcolm Smith, will be recognized at the February DAR luncheon.
